State Growth µç³µÎÞÂë Toolkits

Resources for teachers, administrators, parents and general public, and professional developers and technical users have been developed to support the interpretation and use of µç³µÎÞÂë State-provided growth scores starting with the 2018-19 school year. In each section below, you will find supporting resources for each audience.

Overview of State-Provided Growth Scores
Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2019, which amended the Student Performance Category requirements of Education Law §3012-d, eliminates the requirement to use the State Growth Model for teachers of grades 4-8, building principals covering those grade levels, and high school principals (all of grades 9-12).
